This is the second of a pair of concert size ukuleles that I built in 2017. Both instruments are concert scale, although with soprano body dimensions, for a more traditional soprano ukulele tone and feel. The styling and aesthetics of these two instruments were inspired by the numerous turn-of-the-century American made parlor guitars that I’ve worked on over the years, from the narrow waist and body dimensions, to the herringbone purfling.
